I am an experienced Family Law Attorney. Since 1982 I have succesfully conducted adoptions of Colombian children for American
and European families. I counsel and advice couples , from the moment I receive initial documentation and power of attorney
to represent them, until the child returns with them to his or her new home.
With a thorough understanding of the adoption process, consideration and sense of humor, I advice and develop a close
relationship with the new parents who, besides the child, are a top priority in my work. From the moment when the couple travels
to Colombia to receive the child, who is introduced and presented to them by the Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar,
"ICBF", the Government agency in charge of protecting the children in Colombia, I am available to help and guide the couple
in all activities related to the adoption process. I believe it is critical that the parents feel supported during the entire
process.
